Air of Fall
Jan 28th, 2010 | By Chris Lawrence | Category: Poetry | 307 viewsSecrets told
in whispers,
clandestine huddles,
rumours to dispel.
Summer’s fragrance
pales to cold,
they will not
forget or break
carved promises.
Love’s tangled growth,
sinuous, strong
prevails despite
the air of fall..
