That day came with excitement for us, for Gigi and I decided that we really wanted to publish our stories.
As I tell my tales, I imagine myself walking through the molasses swamp in the game called Candy Land.
I sat there, feeling my heart beat in my ears, feeling his chilly hands dance over my back, lifting my bra. “Just breath, Helen. No worries, just breath”, he softly told me as he continued on his discovery.

Like any person who has been slammed into the dirt, time and time again by love, I tend to hold everyone that I date now accountable for past love’s penances. Is it unfair? The answer is yes. But, so is life, and for damend sure, so is love.
I can’t help but feel the old ache in my heart coming back as I sit by the sea and look out over the big, blue water that seems to go on forever.
Primarily, the mind can forget many things; but once something is in someone‘s heart, it is unforgettable.
