Author Julie M. TateIn her poem “Victory” Julie M. Tate writes, “I am the last drop of water in the Bermuda triangle.” Her newest chapbook, The Rough Chronicles of Bi-Polar Romance snatches the reader from a safe and mundane existence. They are caught up in the whirlwind of her creativity and blown to the four corners of her imagination. She is an observer, a poet, a writer of the very best kind, fearless in conveying her truths, and observations. This book conveys the erotic, the sexual, the passion, and compassion of this writer.

In another poem “My own Lord Henry,” she writes, “I want to be a limited edition…” In this case, I shall state what seems utterly obvious to me: Julie M. Tate and “The Rough Chronicles of Bi-Polar Romance” should not be a limited edition. It should be dispensed far and wide for the reading world to quietly taste and imbibe the sustenance that lies within its pages.

Julie M. TateJulie M. Tate tells us the truth of things. They are her truths, but those that each of us can relate to in one way or another and there may be those who may even aspire to them as well. In this collection the reader is privileged to catch a glimpse of a poet’s life, an artist’s passions. There is no sweet coating applied and the unadulterated rawness in and of itself speaks volumes far more than these thirty eight pages. A life, Julie M. Tate’s life, at least a portion of it resides here. It is her craft of art and poetry that demands more than a passing gaze. It demands respect for point of view, for the real life experiences that bring the reader to a bright light blinding them with a point of view that most fear to gaze upon.

Just in case you may have thought that Ms. Tate only writes books you would be mistaken. Julie M. Tate is Creator and Editor of Gossip and the Devil. www.devilgossip.com
In her words, “A creative / lifestyle movement and blog aspiring to bring the humanities back to life. For this and her book, “The Rough Chronicles of Bi-Polar Romance,” T21 applauds her efforts and rates her book 5 stars. T21 wishes Ms. Tate the best of luck in her future endeavors, and highly recommends for your reading pleasure, The Rough Chronicles of Bi-Polar Romance.
